If you find an intimate image or video of yourself (or of someone you're authorized to act for) on a page or embed hosted by Impact Story, and it was published without consent, you can ask us to remove it. You don't need an account. ## How to make a request Use the removal form at impactstoryapp.com/remove, or email takedown@impactstoryapp.com. Your request needs: 1. **Your signature:** your typed full name counts as an electronic signature. If you're acting for someone else, say so and give your name. 2. **Where it is:** the link to the story page, gallery or embed, and enough detail for us to find the image (for example, the moment in the video or which photo). 3. **A short statement** that you believe in good faith the image was published without the consent of the person shown, with any details that help us understand. 4. **How to reach you:** an email address. ## What happens next - We send you a ticket number right away. - Within 48 hours of receiving a complete request, we remove the image and make reasonable efforts to find and remove identical copies anywhere on Impact Story, including other formats, downloads, embeds and cached copies. - We tell the organization whose story it was, without sharing your contact details unless you agree. - We email you when the removal is done. - If a request is missing something we need, we tell you right away what's missing; the 48 hours starts once we have it. ## Please note - This process is for intimate images shared without consent. To remove your own story for any other reason, use your "Manage my story" link. To report other harmful content, use the "Report this story" link on the page. - Making a knowingly false request may have legal consequences. - Content we remove under this policy isn't restored unless the person shown confirms they consent. - If you're in immediate danger, call 911.
